100% customisable travel idea
Italy - Rome - Florence
100% customisable for you
Private transfer and accommodation for three nights in the Oltrarno area (literally “on the other side of the Arno”). The San Frediano neighbourhood is one of the most pleasant in Florence. This is where your establishment's nine apartments are located, each with its own unique décor and layout. The concept, however, remains the same: exceptional comfort and amenities, cosy interiors with warm tones and character. Here a private hammam, there a furnished terrace, elsewhere a loft-style bedroom: there is something for everyone, and for the whole family.
Florence raises its red roofs and the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore between the peaceful banks of the Arno and the hills of Tuscany. It was profoundly shaped by the family of Lorenzo de’ Medici, known as “The Magnificent” - an evocative and flattering nickname shared with the Florentine city, which saw its golden age under their rule. Even today, it boasts Renaissance palaces and churches, as well as a myriad of museums and art galleries - much to the delight of curious visitors. Food lovers, meanwhile, won't want to miss the delicious trippa alla fiorentina, hearty bistecca, or white truffle pasta, all local specialties that are not to be missed.
On your agenda - Family treasure hunt. To entertain younger travellers, set off in search of clues hidden at various sites and monuments in Florence. With the help of a booklet full of puzzles and anecdotes and accompanied by a private guide, you will (re)learn the history of the city and explore its iconic sites in a fun way; It's sure to create wonderful memories for everyone.
Already planned - Your fast-track tickets to the Leonardo da Vinci Museum Located in the prestigious Palazzo Sforza Almeni, the museum invites visitors to immerse themselves in an interactive tour of the Renaissance genius's world. There are more than fifty machines, faithfully reconstructed from his notebooks - from self-supporting bridges to flying machines - which visitors can operate. High-resolution reproductions of his pictorial masterpieces complete the experience. Ideally located just a stone's throw from the Duomo, the museum combines heritage, education, and entertainment, appealing to both curious visitors and families.
Optional: The Medici's Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens; cooking class for the whole family.
Private transfer to Santa Maria Novella station, then train to Rome. Upon arrival, another private transfer and check-in for three nights in the historic centre, just a stone’s throw from the famous Spanish Steps. This unique place feels more like a charming pied-à-terre than just another hotel - and that is its true value. Here, you are immersed in a warm, family atmosphere. Inside, there are only five rooms, simply yet stylishly decorated: old parquet floors, period furniture, marble bathtubs, satin drapes… When it comes to services, there is no restaurant or reception, but you will find a shared, fully equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches in the rooms. Via Condotti and its trendy boutiques are just a few metres away, as is the Spagna metro station, which provides quick access to the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, Termini Central station and more.
Capital of an empire with limitless borders, Rome has nevertheless kept its human scale, dotted with parks and shaded gardens, small squares with cheerful fountains and lively stalls. The famous hills surrounding Mount Palatine, where Romulus and Remus fought, are replete with ancient treasures. Among the must-see sights to show children: the Trevi Fountain (best seen at night!), the forums, the Colosseum and its gladiators, the Capitol, Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel, the 1st-century AD grand stadium, the Villa Medici...
On the agenda: Private guided tour ‘Rome as theatre’. For over two thousand years, Rome has been a melting pot for all the makings of the best plays. The city can indeed be likened to a comedy; it should therefore be visited like a theatre to get to know its characters, its stories, and its ancestral secrets. Leading the group is a tour guide, while actors recount and act out the most surprising episodes in the history of the Eternal City, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
Optional - Private creative baking workshop for children; private tour of Rome's monuments for parents.
Already arranged: Your multi-entry tickets for the Colosseum, the Forum and the Palatine Hill. These three iconic Roman landmarks will transport you back to the heart of the Imperial era. Nearly two thousand years old, the Colosseum still inspires awe for its sheer size. Measuring 187 metres long, 155 metres wide and 50 metres high, it remains a remarkable technical achievement. Next, head to the Roman Forum, the economic, political, judicial, financial and religious centre for more than twelve centuries. From the Palatine Hill (70 metres high), which witnessed the battle between Romulus and Remus and is one of the oldest sites in the city, you can see the Forum on one side and the Circus Maximus on the other, once the largest public building in ancient Rome, mainly used for chariot races. This hill has become a large open-air museum. Visits are self-guided, at your own pace, and can be undertaken in any direction you wish.
Also planned: Private guided tour around magical Rome and its occult traditions. Accompanied by an illusionist and mind reader, the family explores magical Rome and its esoteric traditions. Invisible to the casual passer-by, these mysteries lie hidden in the heart of the historic centre. During the tour, visitors learn about occult memory techniques, a forgotten tradition dating back more than two millennia, which once shaped the minds of great thinkers and artists such as Giordano Bruno, who was condemned for his knowledge. Magic shows and mind-reading demonstrations punctuate this fascinating journey among iconic monuments and the twists and turns of the human mind.
Private transfer to the airport and direct return flight.
