Itinerary highlights

  • The exclusivity of an island hotel set in the middle of the Indian Ocean, easily accessible and suitable for families
  • A kids club for the little ones, a spa for the grown-ups, and the sea to bring everyone together
  • Arriving at the hotel by seaplane, sailing out to meet dolphins at sunset: it’s all already planned!
  • Airport lounge, mobile app, carbon absorption, our recommendations: the extra Voyageurs touch
On arrival in Malé, the seaplane is waiting for you. It takes you on a 30-minute or so flight over the Indian Ocean. From up there, you take in the archipelago’s colours: blue, green and white. The first is shared between the sky and the water, and varies infinitely. The second one sways gently in the breeze, dense and sustained. As for the third, it shimmers under the sun’s rays. You land on an island whose Maldivian name poetically means “the sandbank”. The villas, spacious and elegantly decorated, are set either on the lagoon or on the beach. The concept of extreme modernity stands out from traditional Maldivian accommodation. The furniture appears to float in air; the finest natural materials have been given pride of place. On the culinary side, three restaurants complement each other: the first offers local and international dishes in a buffet format, in a friendly atmosphere. Another, perched on stilts above the lagoon, serves exquisite fine cuisine. The last one, popular with everyone, grills all kinds of delicious dishes. As a bonus: a kids’ club and activities speciallly to them. While the little ones make friends at the kids club, the adults indulge in specialist spa treatments. Everyone gathers for water games in the shallow waters of the lagoon, a bicycle ride, or around the dining table to talk about the day’s adventures. In short, these are activities bringing much happiness. And you have to imagine all of this in a truly idyllic atmosphere.

On your agenda

The bond between children and dolphins is nothing new! That is why an outing to encounter these powerful and graceful cetaceans just couldn’t be left out. Bottlenose dolphins and long-beaked dolphins are the most frequently met. Out of a well-understood sense of discretion, which ensures the best conditions for observation, you do not swim with them, but let them accompany you. This introduces you to them in all their natural beauty. However, as charming as they may be, dolphins are by no means the only wildlife in the area - far from it! For those who love snorkelling, a boat heads out daily to the coral reef. Here you discover extraordinary wildlife and plant life.

In the Maldives, they are going to love…

Getting up close - but not too close - to a whale shark; seeing the sea from the pool; the transparency of the water; viewing the landscape from a seaplane; volleyball games; fresh coconut milk; snorkelling, mask and fins; the bathroom that is both inside and outside the villa; the colours of the sun as it sets…
