All this comes without compromising on comfort and service:, creating a true haven of luxury and tranquillity. Welcome to Thailand.
A bustling metropolis, Bangkok is the nerve centre of the Thai kingdom. This vibrant energy is found almost everywhere - in the market aisles, on the wide motorised avenues, or on the Chao Phraya, the magical river where long-tail boats are constantly coming and going. But the city also offers a few pockets of peace and serenity: n the lively scrap metal district of Talat Noi; in Chinatown; along the khlongs - those beautiful canals lined with stilt houses - in the Thonburi district; in the temples and pagodas; or in Bang Krachao park…
Scheduled: Bangkok in the footsteps of a . Nalinee is your native Thai guide. She will introduce you to contemporary Thai culture. Nalinee takes a playful approach and focuses her tour on art and refined craftsmanship. She guides you through local living spaces and traditional skills, encouraging interaction with residents. She will help you gain deeper insight into an aspect of the Thai way of life.
Things to do and see- Two major cultural sites: the Royal Palace, with Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), and Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha). The Emerald Buddha, carved in the 15th century from green jade, is housed in the royal chapel. It is a revered symbol of the ruling Chakri dynasty. You also visit the throne room, the coronation hall and the state reception room. Wat Pho is undoubtedly the oldest temple in Bangkok (late 18th century). It houses a monumental reclining Buddha statue, gilded with gold leaf (entering nirvana). It is 46 metres long and 15 metres high. The soles of Siddhartha Gautama’s feet are inlaid with mother-of-pearl: 108 symbols of the Buddha. Within the temple, a traditional massage school welcomes you to entrust your feet to the students, who will leave them feeling relaxed, supple, and light.
Optional- Visit the ruins of Ayutthaya, the former Siamese capital, and enjoy a bucolic dinner by the river with a private guide.
Private transfer to the airport, then flight to Chiang Mai. Private transfer and three-night stay on the banks of the Mae Ping River, in a peaceful setting yet just a short walk from the historic old town. Built around what was once the British Consulate, your accommodation has a refined British touch. The design is elegant and modern, featuring spaces filled with warm colours, teak, and mosaic floors. The atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful. From your spacious room, a private terrace overlooks the accommodation’s tropical gardens, bathing the space in abundant natural light.
Scheduled - Chiang Mai in the footsteps of a local. You dive in once again. I the company of an expatriate, you set out to explore the country's cultural and artistic capital. A passionate traveller and lover of the country, Asia, and Thai culture, your companion for the day has truly become a local over the years. He knows the city practically inside out and offers you an authentic immersion in this fascinating place, guiding you through fashion hotspots, hidden neighbourhoods, street food, and markets. You can blend in with the crowd or, conversely, escape it — and above all, share insights into daily life in Thailand. A relaxed encounter with no fixed agenda, the walk unfolds naturally according to your interests and preferences.
While the city still displays the grandeur of a former capital, it also exudes a gentle, easygoing charm. It has nearly three hundred temples; Wat Chiang Man is the oldest (13th century) and Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, about 15 km (9 miles) out in the countryside, is the most famous (14th century). The latter offers a very beautiful view of the city. The night bazaar, east of the citadel, is a treasure trove where you find everything from the finest handicrafts to the tackiest Chinese trinkets, as well as street food and electronics. Perhaps you'll try q khantoke dinner: a small wicker table, sticky rice and lots of delicious dishes! The tuk-tuk weaves its way through the streets, making it the main mode of transport around the city.
Private transfer to the airport, then flight to Phuket. Transfer to the pier and boat ride to Koh Yao Noi, a true Eden in Phang Nga Bay. Your hotel lives up to its privileged location and pays tribute to the four elements, following the principles of Feng Shui: earth (responsible building materials), water (which surrounds the buildings), air (natural ventilation), and fire (natural light). The commitment to sustainable development is reflected even in the spa treatments, made with products from the garden. The beautiful villas, built from natural and recycled materials, blend into the environment. Inside, the property is perfectly decorated, chic and bohemian, all in natural materials. White and wood tones, soft lighting, and plush cushions create a warm and inviting atmosphere. All areas look out over the crystal-clear waters of the bay and the nearby islets. There are also private pools. When it comes to sunsets, you truly have to see them to believe them.
Scheduled - Private trip by long-tail boat in Phang NgaBay. A vast, seldom-visited natural area, the bay showcases landscapes of untouched beauty, dominated by karst peaks formed from marine limestone and layers of shells accumulated over some 20 million years. This sea excursion, aboard a traditional boat, offers the chance to explore Koh Talu Island with its arch and colony of giant bats, the Ma Kram islets with their tiny deserted beaches, and Ku Du Island, featuring a cove flanked by two stone pillars. Between explorations, you can enjoy swimming and soaking up the sun.
Boat crossing to Phuket, then private transfer to the airport and international flight home. Night spent on the plane, arrival the next day.
