Andalusia knows how to charm travellers: delightful climate, welcoming locals, exquisitely refined Mudejar architecture and tapas served at any hour. But the dream can fade if you do not have the patience to drive in city centres. Which is why we have adapted this itinerary and arranged train tickets for you. The journeys then become a gentle voyage in their own right. Between olive groves and white villages, the Andalusian landscapes drift by peacefully. And once you arrive, it's easy to explore on foot. The journey begins in Seville, bordered by the tranquil waters of the Guadalquivir. Pass through the vast Plaza de Espana before taking a long walk through the elegant gardens of Maria Luisa Park, then reach the Alcazar via the charming Calle San Fernando, where the University is located. Next, the first train drops you off at Cordoba station. Cordoba is more discreet than its neighbours, but no less charming. At its heart, the Mezquita and its red and white marble columns - one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture. Flower-filled patios and winding alleyways flourish all around you. The journey ends in Granada. Deeply rooted in its Arab past, the city boasts a unique Moorish heritage: from the Corral del Carbon, a former grain market, to the Banuelo, not forgetting the Moorish silk market. Towering over it all is the Alhambra and the Generalife, the residence of the Nasrid kings.

Your journey

The accommodation we have chosen along the route immerses you in the very heart of Andalusia: typical, welcoming hotels, perfectly located for easy exploring. At each stop-off, the essentials are all on your itinerary. In Seville, you have skip-the-line tickets for the three most beautiful sites in the city: the Alcazar, the Basilica and the Cathedral. In Cordoba, a ticket grants you access to the Mezquita at nightfall, just as a sound and light show begins. In Granada, you have a private tour of the Alhambra with a guide, to take in all its details. Transfers between airports and hotels, on arrival and departure, are scheduled. And, because a journey can always be derailed by slight hitches or last-minute requests, you can contact our on site Concierge at any time.

Itinerary

100% customisable for you

On arrival in Seville, take a private transfer to the historic centre and settle in for three nights in a warm and elegant setting. Formed by merging two traditional 18th-century houses, the hotel offers charming patios and splendid galleries, all embellished with true respect for Andalusian architecture. The interiors of the rooms are understated and well-appointed, always with comfort in mind, while the rooftop terrace invites guests to admire the finest views of the city.

Already arranged - Your skip-the-queue tickets for three major Seville sites. The Alcazar Palace, built on the foundations of an Arab fortress, is a treasure trove of architectural riches. Its halls with golden domes, walls covered in azulejos, and magnificent gardens have witnessed some of the most important chapters in the history of Spain. Next, Seville Cathedral, built on the very site of the Great Mosque, houses the remains of Christopher Columbus. Finally, the Basilica of the Divine Saviour, built on the site of the former Great Umayyad Mosque - its minaret base still standing - features a majestic and elegant brick façade with sculpted stone reliefs.

Must-see, must-do - Wander through the various rooms of the Fine Arts Museum; visit the Gothic-Mudejar palace of the Casa de Pilatos, then continue to the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza; lose yourself in the old Triana district; hop on a bike and refuel with regular tapas breaks; take in the city from the top of the Giralda.
Optional - Flamenco show; food tour in Triana.

Train journey to Córdoba. Stay for two nights in the building originally constructed to house the mosque builders. Facing the famous Mezquita, your hotel reveals a style still firmly rooted in tradition, yet without overlooking the modernity of its amenities. The rooms are naturally arranged around a stone-walled patio, which feels cool after exploring the city.

Already arranged - your tickets for the night visit to the Mezquita. This former Roman temple became a church, then a mosque, before gradually being transformed into a cathedral after the reconquest of Córdoba in 1236. The Capilla Mayorr was completed in 1607. The Mezquita is one of the major attractions of Islamic architecture. It stands as a testament to the Muslim presence in Spain. Its forest of more than a thousand columns, double arches, mashrabiya, and the arches of its domes have earned it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage list. This nighttime tour centres on a sound and light show in the Patio de los Naranjos and the Hall of Columns, tracing the history of the building and the city.

Train journey to Granada. Settle in for three nights in a former 16th-century palace. This hotel still reflects the charms of Mudejar style: a shaded patio, the gentle murmur of a fountain, wrought iron grilles and romantic balconies. The place has been renovated to preserve most of its original architectural features. The rooms display soft tones and natural materials.

Already planned - A visit to the Alhambra and the Generalife gardens, with a private guide. These two iconic sites are among the most striking places of Arab heritage in Granada. They are perched on the heights of the city, where the Nasrid kings once lived. The Alhambra is made up of two parts: the Alcazaba, a military area that served as barracks for the royal guard; and the Medina, where the nobles lived. At the centre are the Nasrid Palaces, which were the political and religious heart until the 16th century.
Optional - A private tour of the Albaicín district, birthplace of flamenco.

Private transfer to the airport in the late afternoon, then return international flight.

À la carte

This suggested itinerary can be customisable down to the smallest detail, including duration, stops and content. An à la carte menu of experiences is also available to create a journey that reflects who you are.

A flamenco show in Seville

Dresses in shimmering colours swirling and heels clicking. Flamenco, the music of the Andalusian Roma, is an integral part of the local culture. The Museo del Baile Flamenco is a vibrant cultural centre where all facets of this art form are expressed: dance, singing, guitar playing, all showcased through an interactive museum, performances and classes. It is also the city's best flamenco venue, where internationally renowned artists perform.

Gourmet walk in the Triana district, Seville

Triana is a neighbourhood of sailors, artisans, bullfighters and singers. Strolling among its flower-filled, colourful streets you come across enticing aromas that linger in the air. You pass by the "Cava de los Gitanos", the house of the famous bullfighter Francisco Vega de los Rios and the Chapel of Our Lady of Carmen. Finally you reach Calle Castilla to admire the Capilla del Patrocinio, before strolling through the Triana market and sampling local products.

The Albaicín neighbourhood in Granada

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this area has preserved a rich collection of Moorish architecture with which traditional Andalusian style blends harmoniously. The buildings line the warren of narrow streets typical of the area. The most traditional houses, known as carmenes, were built during the period of Arab rule and all have the same layout: behind their immaculate walls lie beautiful patios filled with plants and flowers.
