Itinerary highlights

  • A chic and committed eco-resort on the beachfront, your confidential hotel with a Creole influence.
  • The two sides of the island: the glamorous Caribbean icon and the exceptional nature reserve.
  • A massage at the hotel spa, a sunset cruise with champagne: it is all arranged for you.
  • Convertible car, our recommendations, phone assistance: the Voyageurs special touches
Since it will be your main accommodation from the first to the last day, we have selected something that you will never tire of. The surrounding décor has a lot to do with it. At sunrise, the senses awaken gently. There is the song of the birds, the scent of tropical flowers, then the spectacle of surfers mastering the waves. Below, Anse des Cayes beach has long been their playground. This idyllic setting is home to the island’s first eco-resort. Natural materials, clean lines and colonial-style furniture: the cottages are inspired by the island and its landscapes. A soothing atmosphere awaits at the spa, with the scents of patchouli, vanilla and bergamot essential oils. The treatments offered here nourish both body and mind - a moment that can be extended with a Pilates or yoga class facing the sea. The two swimming pools offer an alternative for swimming at the beach. At the table, the dishes pay tribute to the exceptional richness of the island. The adjoining vegetable garden and orchard provide fresh, organic ingredients - citrus fruits, mangoes, passion, bananas and coconuts, among others. The environment is at the heart of this hotel project. The installation of solar panels, steam cleaning without chemicals and the provision of bamboo fibre towels are among the responsible initiatives introduced by the owners. They are committed to preserving the beauty of the island, which is bathed in a gentle light as evening comes. The sun is slowly disappearing into a calm, glassy sea; the surfers have gone. In the end, the days are much the same, and that is just how it should be.

Your journey

At the mere mention of Saint Barthélemy, a superficial image still echoes in the collective subconscious: that of a destination reserved for celebrities and millionaires. An on-site stay has the merit of bringing some nuance to it. Entirely designated as a naturereserve, the smallest island of the French Antilles is full of protected areas, home to many birds such as the pelican and the green hummingbird. For diving enthusiasts, the seabed offers easy sightings of parrotfish, starfish and turtles. Back on dry land, a visit to the fishing village of Corossol offers a glimpse of a more traditional fashion of life. And, to explore every corner of the island at your own pace, you will have a convertible car at your disposal throughout your stay. We also took the liberty of adding two highlights to your agenda. First, a massage at the hotel spa for each of you. In a cabin facing the sea, the treatments - created by Dr Hauschka - are based on a carefully crafted synergy of medicinal plants and organic, fair-trade ingredients. Then, you set off on a private catamaran cruise at the end of the day, when the water reflects the pink and orange hues of the sky - a fleeting spectacle to admire while sipping a glass of champagne.

With 120 nationalities mingling, conversations flow in French, English, and Creoles - Guadeloupean, Martinican, Haitian - the island is a cosmopolitan melting pot, a welcoming land whose nickname, the “Friendly Island”, is truly deserved. Sunshine all year round, white sandy beaches, and turquoise sea, from the invigorating waves of the Atlantic to the calm waters of the Caribbean, make this little piece of France in the Caribbean fashion especially welcoming.
