Pantanal travel

To travel in the Pantanal, it is important to choose the right season. This natural paradise in the heart of central Brazil extends across the vast plains of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. The Pantanal, a major livestock region, is one of the largest natural parks in the world and one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in Brazil. The wet season, from October to March, makes boat travel easier, while the dry season, from April to September, is perfect for observing wildlife. It has the highest concentration of wildlife in the tropics, including many endangered species (mammals, reptiles and fish), and serves as a refuge for a vast number of birds.
