This trip is perfect for couples, whether they are celebrating the start of their romance or the strength of their lasting love Whether chasing adventure across the untamed savannah or surrendering to the gentle sway of a golden beach, the heart cannot decide. To avoid having to choose, we combined these two experiences in the countries where they reign supreme: Kenya and Seychelles. A dream duo for the ultimate romantic experience. You will land in Kenya, the world's prime safari destination. There you will explore two of the country’s most beautiful reserves. At the edge of the Great Rift Valley is Lake Elementaita. Migratory birds mingle with gazelles, zebras and warthogs that have come there to rest. This secret garden marks the beginning of a great adventure. The Kenyan part of the trip continues in the famous Masai Mara reserve. The light grows brighter, the warmth settles in, marking your arrival in the legendary savannah, a natural extension of the Serengeti. Lions, hyenas, elephants and vultures are the main actors of this spectacle put on by the animal kingdom. Bathed in the golden glow of sunset, you raise a glass to this magical safari escape This is followed by a night stop-off in Nairobibefore heading to Mahé,the main island of the Seychelles. From the rhythms of the bush to the serenity of a wellness-focused hotel, the dream continues in comfort and luxury. Your last days are spent just steps from Beau Vallon Beach, bathed in water so turquoise it appears unreal. Surrounded by the Indian Ocean, your romantic getaway ends in a blaze of glory.

Your trip

Nothing could disrupt this getaway for two. From start to finish, we have taken great care with the logistics. In Kenya, just three stop-offs limit time spent driving. You travel across the country in your own 4x4, driven by a Kenyan driver-guide - a rare gem. It’s an experience that’s both intimate and effortlessly refined. From Nairobi, a short flight takes you to the island of Mahé. In the Seychelles, the organisation is just as seamless. Private transfers are arranged between the airport and your waterfront accommodation. To make sure you don't miss anything essential, we've carefully added a few well-chosen highlights to your itinerary:. These include a boat trip on Lake Naivasha, a cycling tour of Hell's Gate Park, and a 4x4 tour of Mahé Island. These activities are the ideal complement to the safaris already planned in the Masai Mara. We’ve even arranged a restaurant reservation for you in Kenya’s capital! As for the rest, if you would like to fly over the savannah in a hot air balloon, walk in the footsteps of the women who have shaped Kenya, or cycle around La Digue, , just let us know. Your trip is designed to be flexible and can evolve even as it unfolds, in coordination with your travel specialist and our on-site Concierges.

Itinerary

100% customisable for you

Night on board, arrival the next day.

Welcome at Nairobi airport and assistance with entry formalities. Your private driver-guide is already there to meet you - they will accompany you throughout your Kenyan journey. Together, you drive to Lake Elementaita. Check in for two nights at a lodge made up of small thatched-roof cottages, each with a beautiful terrace. The location is ideal for enjoying the lake and its surrounding landscape. Meals are served in the restaurant or directly out in the bush, beneath the starry canopy. To unwind at the end of the day, the pool and bar both provide their share of delicious moments.
In your itinerary - Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island. At the edge of the Rift Valley, at an altitude of over 6,168 ft (1,880 metres), Lake Naivasha comes into view. This noble freshwater basin, encircled by hills and acacias, irresistibly attracts local wildlife - hippos in particular. You'll head out to meet them on a boat ride across the lake. In the distance lies Crescent Island, sometimes an island, sometimes a peninsula, depending on the whims of the water level. The site is explored on foot, among gazelles, zebras and giraffes roaming freely.

Already included - Cycling and walking in Hell’s Gate National Park. Located south of Naivasha, facing Mount Longonot, the “Gates of Hell” owe their name to two red cliffs standing on either side of a vast area of active geothermal activity. This same volcanic energy shapes the park’s dramatic landscapes: gorges and canyons, waterfalls and hot springs, geysers and sulphur steam, caves and hollows, and plenty more. The absence of big cats makes it one of the only parks in the country where you can safely explore on foot and by bike. Its relatively small size makes exploration even easier.

Drive to the Masai Mara Reserve. Little by little, the rugged, verdant landscapes of the Great Rift Valley give way to the Mara’s immense bushy plains. Stay for three nights on the edge of the park, on the banks of the Talek river. The comfortable tents dotted around the estate are topped with thatched roofs and open out onto the site's spectacular surroundings. It's the same story in the shared spaces (lounge, restaurant), all of which are oriented towards the outdoors. In the distance, the hills shift from green to gold. The air fills with the calls of the savannah - and a sense of anticipation.

In your itinerary - Two safaris a day. The reserve’s open savannahs offer herbivores seemingly endless space. Wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and topi all graze freely here. Their predators - big cats of every stripe - make a point of reminding all that nature is merciless to those who can’t outrun them. Hyenas, jackals and vultures then make short work of what’s left of that harsh reality. As for the elephant, it moves through this African tableau in all its grandeur, oblivious to human affairs. In every season, the Masai Mara reveals a complete ecosystem - alive, abundant - and the memories gathered through the window or open roof of your 4x4 will stay with you for a long time.
Optional - Hot air balloon flight over the Masai Mara.

Drive to Nairobi and check in for the night in a quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city centre. A stone staircase leads to the entrance of the building, where a myriad of balconies lines the façade. Beyond the large windows lie discreetly sophisticated spaces, dotted with local touches: whether a large trunk borrowed from an exploration expedition or cushions in zebra stripes. A spa, as well as indoor and outdoor pools, help you recover from the adventures of the bush.
Already included - Dinner in a city restaurant. A pioneer of Nairobi’s street-food scene, it serves burgers filled with beef, chicken, lamb - or a veggie option. Classic? Yes - but the accompaniments are anything but: try mango or coconut mayo, homemade pickles, flaked almonds and mint, Zanzibar chutney and more. Its relaxed atmosphere draws families and cheerful groups of hungry diners alike.

Optional, before leaving Nairobi - In the footsteps of Daphne Sheldrick and Karen Blixen.
Private transfer to the airport and flight to Mahé island. A new private transfer then takes you to your accommodation, where you will stay for four nights. Just metres from the sandy shore, this hotel fits perfectly within Seychellois tradition. But nothing is ostentatious here - the spacious suites and villas are tastefully decorated. Some even have a terrace with a private pool for extra privacy. The spa offers seven treatment rooms and a relaxation space open to the greenery - a sign of how much attention is given to guests’ well-being. As for the restaurants, service is exceptionally attentive, and you can choose between several concepts - enough for you to pleasantly agonise over your choice.

In your itinerary - Secret Mahé by 4x4. Some claim that in the Seychelles, the most rugged tracks lead to the most breathtaking views. Beyond the cross-country roads that lead to easily accessible viewpoints, nature has reclaimed its place. Set out in a 4x4 in search of these magnificent, unexplored landscapes. The network of dirt tracks is scattered with sites as surprising as they are varied: former copra mills, tea and cinnamon plantations, and stretches of granite. Round a waterfall, the sudden appearance of a remote village raises plenty of questions.

See and do - Breathe in the scent of spices at Victoria Market; slip into a colourful underwater world with mask and snorkel; venture into the dense vegetation of the Vallée de Mai; walk the sands of Anse Lazio before diving into the splendid Chevalier Bay; pay a courtesy visit to giant tortoises; curl up in the shade of a coconut palm.
Optional - A bicycle to explore La Digue freely.

Private transfer to the airport and international return flight. Night on board, arrival the next day.

À la carte

This suggested itinerary can be customisable down to the smallest detail, including duration, stops and content. An à la carte menu of experiences is also available to create a journey that reflects who you are.

Glide over the Masai Mara Reserve in a hot air balloon

Between hills and vast plains, the Masai Mara landscape - dotted with acacias and shrubs - unfolds into a breathtaking panorama, made even more magical at sunrise. The large African mammals - wildebeest, zebras, antelopes - move freely in this decor. Every year, during the great annual migration, millions of animals journeying from the Serengeti become the stars of an even more spectacular show. From the hot air balloon, you enjoy a front-row seat to this extraordinary spectacle

In search of Daphne Sheldrick and Karen Blixen

For a day, you walk in the footsteps of two women who profoundly shaped Kenya. Daphne Sheldrick, the widow of the famous game warden David Sheldrick, founded a centre dedicated to rescuing and reintegrating endangered baby elephants. Karen Blixen, for her part, recounted her life in Kenya in an autobiographical book, Out of Africa, which was adapted into a film. Truly inspiring journeys.

A bicycle for exploring La Digue

A few minutes wait at the Mahé jetty, then a boat takes you across the Indian Ocean to La Digue. On the shore, your bicycles are already waiting for you - the perfect way to safely explore this little gem with its idyllic beaches. A tip: cycle out to the exquisite coves along the coast.
