From $4300 to $6000 per person for 13 days Price depends on departure city, season, accomodation types and selected activities

Itinerary highlights

  • The exuberance of the landscapes in Bohol, the beauty of the underwater world in Negros
  • Your private island: enjoy a family Robinson-style adventure
  • Snorkelling to greet the giant turtles, and a suspended bike ride over the Chocolate Hills - already planned!
  • Tailor-made airport welcome, family villas and rooms, fast sea crossings, local mobile, Wi-Fi: easy for families.
Visit the tarsiers, curious little primates—the smallest in the world—that look like Gremlins; wander through the Chocolate Hills; try sky cycling; cruise on a banca, a quirky outrigger canoe decorated with colourful flag garlands; dive into the pool or swim in waterfalls; play explorer in the tropical forest; get around by “tricycle”, a colourful hybrid of tuk-tuk and sidecar; see rivers lit by fireflies at night; watch dolphins and starfish; swim with clownfish, butterflyfish, pygmy seahorses, giant turtles and whale sharks.

From island to island through the Visayas archipelago

With its rounded shapes, the island of Bohol looks as if it came straight out of a child’s drawing: its 1,200 perfect cones, covered in brown vegetation, the beautiful “Chocolate Hills”, create a surreal landscape. The island of Negros is dotted with white and black sand beaches - in its clear waters, you can swim with turtles and clownfish. Zaragosa Islet is a tiny speck off the coast of Cebu Island: a white sand beach fringed with coconut trees, clear water and the sea as your only horizon.
Logistics - In the Visayas, unlike other islands in the Philippines, there are no mosquitoes and no need for anti-malaria treatment: ideal for families. And the logistics have been designed to facilitate a child-friendly journey. We have planned longer stop overs of several nights to avoid packing up every day - especially as the accommodations we’ve chosen are so appealing, making you want to linger: everywhere, there’s the beach, fine sand, the sea, a swimming pool and a particularly warm welcome for families. Journeys by road or sea never take more than three hours. On your itinerary, we have included a visit to Bohol Island to discover the “Chocolate Hills”: a childhood dream! Your kids can ride bicycles in the air there, and greet the tarsiers,- the world’s smallest primates, which look like Gremlins. It is also said that they were the inspiration for the character of E.T. - and it’s true, there is a resemblance in their eyes! A day on Apo Island, which you’ll reach by banca, to discover some of the most beautiful marine life in the world: with just a mask and snorkel, you’ll find a festival of clownfish, soft corals, crocodile fish and parrotfish. For the rest, you’re free to set the pace of your days by the turquoise sea.

Itinerary

100% customisable for you

Overnight flight, arriving the next morning in Cebu. Private transfer to the port and hydrofoil crossing to Tagbilaran on Bohol Island. You will stay for four nights in a villa on a private beach with fine sand, fringed with coconut trees. You’ll love the infinity pool with sea views and the impeccable service.

Bohol is famous for its Chocolate Hills, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These limestone hills have been sculpted by karst erosion into perfectly regular cones, green in the rainy season and chocolate brown at the end of the dry season. The coastline is a succession of beaches, fishing villages and Spanish churches.
On your itinerary - A day trip to the island. Set off to explore the “Chocolate Hills”, which is a child's dream! They also love to meet tarsiers, the world's smallest primates (10 cm, 120 grams) endemic to this region, which resemble Gremlins. Between two chocolate hills, you will have lunch on a cruise on the Loboc River. Also planned for your little adventurers is a 550-metre cable bike ride with a 360° view of the Chocolate Hills.
Optional - A day of snorkelling: you will board a banca, which is a graceful outrigger canoe with two bamboo floats, a small sloping canvas roof and garlands of multicoloured flags, to reach the marine sanctuary of Balicasag Island. There, with a mask and snorkel, you won't know where to look first as the waters are teeming with fish of every colour. Get a taste of adventure in the jungle with an afternoon at Kawasan Falls and its tropical forest, waterfalls and natural pools with turquoise waters.

From the port of Tagbilaran, take a hydrofoil to Dumaguete on the island of Negros. Stay for three nights at your hotel, which is set in the heart of an old plantation with vast bamboo houses with thatched roofs scattered throughout the tropical garden blooming with bougainvillea and frangipani trees. The beach is at the end of the garden. On your itinerary: relaxing on the beach, swimming pools and spa, of course - but you absolutely must explore the surrounding seabed, either scuba diving or snorkelling. The hotel has its own diving centre and offers several daily trips to the beautiful surrounding reefs. This is a particularly family-friendly destination, with two swimming pools, one of which is dedicated to young swimmers, a play area, introductory diving lessons for children aged eight and above to learn how to breathe like a fish, yoga classes designed for children, mini-massages and fruit and chocolate face masks at the spa, and homemade burgers at the restaurant - yum! And babysitters so parents can enjoy a romantic dinner.
On your itinerary - A day on Apo Island. Take a banca boat to the volcanic island, covered in dense vegetation and surrounded by turquoise waters. Apo offers some of the most beautiful seabeds in the Philippines. Grab a mask and snorkel and enjoy a festival of clownfish, soft corals, crocodile fish and parrotfish! After snorkelling, take a stroll around the island, where life is peaceful and punctuated by the fishermen's trips out to sea.
Optional - Twin Lakes National Park, for a hike around the twin crater lakes, Balinsasayao and Danao, in the heart of a lush forest.

Crossing by hydrofoil to Cebu, then transfer by private car with driver (three-hour drive). A few minutes' crossing then takes you to the islet of Zaragosa, where you will stay for three nights in a spacious villa. The hotel is a haven of peace that cultivates the good life and organic vegetables. Here, you can relax on land (spa, yoga and meditation) or underwater, discovering the exceptional seabed. Need more activities? A short hop takes you back to Cebu to explore the jungle or swim with whale sharks.

Private transfer to Cebu airport and return flight via Hong Kong. Overnight flight, arriving the next day.

À la carte

This suggested itinerary can be customisable down to the smallest detail, including duration, stops and content. An à la carte menu of experiences is also available to create a journey that reflects who you are.

KAWASAN FALLS, CEBU

After a banca crossing to reach the forest, you’ll walk through the river to reach Kawasan Falls, in the heart of the tropical forest. On the banks of the Kawasan, you’ll find a few isolated villages where life follows the rhythm of fishing. And after the walk, the afternoon is devoted to swimming in the turquoise waters of the natural pools!
Optional.

WITH A FEW MORE DAYS: HONG KONG

Hong Kong doesn’t care if it’s night or day and is setting some of the standards for the future. Shopping here is extraordinary. The art galleries showcase the crème de la crème of international visual artists. Traditional food stalls are plentiful, but the city also has some of the most creative restaurants on the fusion scene. And in its parks, you’ll find unexpected tranquillity.
