Your trip
Well, what a journey! Five cities in two weeks is ambitious, but rest assured, you will not feel as though you are rushing. Nor will you spend all your time travelling from one place to another. Your trips are optimised from A to Z: private vehicles with drivers almost everywhere, and short domestic flights when necessary. Between Goa and Mumbai, you will also enjoy the authentic experience of travelling in a train made inIndia. You certainly won't be bored, as your schedule is punctuated by a variety of fascinating visits and enriching encounters: from gourmet walks in Delhi, Lucknow and Hyderabad where you set out in search of the secrets of biryani, the country's emblematic dish, and where you can also take part in the veryBritish ritual of High Tea. There are plenty of opportunities to visit markets, shops and street food stalls - and, of course, to try everything. In Goa, you spend a day joyfully wandering from temples to spice plantations. Finally, in Mumbai, we have planned a unique activity that immerses you in the daily life of the city: you will follow in the footsteps of a lunchbox delivery person, known as a dabbawala, during their route. Each time, you are accompanied by a private guide who sheds light on what is worth seeing and creates that precious connection with artisans, producers and vendors. As for your accommodation, it reflects the trip itself: varied and full of charm. Contemporary and elegant hotel, Art Deco building with a pool, high-end property with a spa, intimate villa with exuberant gardens, former colonial mouse. The recipe for a unique trip, throughout which you can rely on the assistance of our on-site Concierge, available to handle unexpected situations and last-minute requests, book a restaurant, or answer any questions you may have.On the menu

Night on board, arrival the next day.
Private transfer and two-night stay in a peaceful residential district at a property that seems like an oasis in the heart of the city. A proud recipient of design and service awards, the accommodation evokes privacy and sophistication like few others. It has a crisp, contemporary décor but does not fail to exude a certain warmth thanks in particular to the garden and the fresh fragrant flowers adorning the modern interior.
Ah! Delhi. A maze of alleyways skilfully navigated by motorbikes, cows, ox carts and rickshaws; markets, a jumble of katras, covered bazaars crowded with stalls set right on the pavement, a profusion of curry, caraway seeds, curry leaves and so much more. Meet your driver for the day. This way you’ll be able to move easily around the city, for example to the spice market, where you’ll be meeting your guide. India is the land of spices par excellence. And not just in the imagination, but in reality: the country is one of the world’s largest producers of spices. These, unsurprisingly, are ever-present in the national cuisine. Delhi’s spice market, located near the Red Fort, dates from the 17th century. Considered the largest market in Asia, it’s full of colour and the scent of herbs, dried fruits and colourful spices. Your companion, a true connoisseur of spices, will be guiding you through this tantalising experience
Optional - Closing ceremony at the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib Sikh temple.
Things to see and do in Delhi - Stroll along the wide avenues and through the well-maintained gardens of New Delhi; visit Humayun's Tomb, whose Mughal-style dome inspired the Taj Mahal; stop by to admire the Qutub Minar, a 236-feet-high (72metres) red sandstone tower built in the early 13th century and adorned with calligraphic verses from the Koran.
Private transfer to the station and train to Lucknow, capital of Uttar Pradesh. Meet your driver for the next two days; transfer and check in at a historic hotel with Anglo-Indian heritage architecture for two nights. Behind the Art Deco façade, high ceilings soar above spaces furnished in 1930s style. The rooms reflect the spirit of those times, with carved headboards and embroidered cushions. Outside, you’ll find lush gardens and an assortment of patios. A swimming pool completes the picture.
On your itinerary - A private gourmet walk around the city. A cultural and artistic centre, Lucknow is also the home of Awadhi cuisine. Influenced by the flavours of Kashmir, Persia and the Punjab, Awahdi cuisine is based on a slow cooking method that preserves the flavour of the ingredients and uses spices like saffron and cardamom. Take a stroll to sample some of the most delicious specialities in different traditional restaurants.
Things to see and do - Explore the old town, a reminder of British colonisation in the Victorian era, and discover the market and the streets of the modern city. Stop for a cup of Darjeeling tea.
Optional - Private tour of Lucknow.
Private transfer to the airport, and flight to Hyderabad. Another private transfer and check-in for two nights in a sought-after neighbourhood where your slightly glitzy hotel will be waiting to welcome you in grand style. The lobby is a bit like an art gallery, with its wooden pillars, sparkling chandeliers and paintings. The rooms are wonderfully comfortable, and impeccably equipped. When you’re feeling hungry, you’ll have a total of five different restaurants to choose from. The wellness centre occupies several floors, and includes an outdoor pool, treatment rooms, fitness rooms, yoga studios and more.
The capital of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad was founded in the 16th century in the time of the Qutub Shahi dynasty, whose rulers were renowned for building monuments, particularly mosques, of great beauty. Given its geographical location, the city quickly grew in military importance, and also became famous for its magnificent diamond market. In fact this is where the famous Kohinoor diamond came from. Today, while still preserving all the traces of its historical past, the city is a modern metropolis - the second “Silicon Valley” of India, after Bengaluru.
Meet your personal driver for the day.
On your itinerary - A private tour to discover an iconic Indian dish: biryani. Biryani is a dish made all over India and enjoyed by almost everyone, from sultans to modest agricultural workers. Slowly cooked in the traditional way in an earthenware pot, it was originally a festive rice dish made with lots of spices. There are as many versions as there are regions and tastes: vegetarian, with meat, fish or seafood. You;ll discover the secrets of this iconic dish when you visit different restaurants in Hyderabad accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide
Optional - High tea at a prestigious city hotel.

Just a handful of comfortable rooms and suites guarantee both tranquillity and privacy, as well as giving you the opportunity to enjoy the stunning natural surroundings. These spacious accommodations have high ceilings and are decorated in keeping with local style. The colour palette is soft and warm, with a predominance of wood. At mealtimes, you’ll be treated to the culinary delights prepared by a creative chef who works his magic using locally sourced ingredients, and like the rest of the team he’s a warm friendly character
. Optional - Night stroll in Goa, exploring taverns and hidden-away bars.
Goa isn’t merely a surfing destination, it’s also a melting pot of culinary and cultural heritage passed down from colonial times. Chillies, fish, peanuts, cashew nuts, tomatoes, sweetcorn, sweet potatoes and spices make up the daily menu.
On your itinerary - A day dedicated to Goa and its spices. Goa was once a Portuguese colony, and the region has retained many of its colonial buildings, which today stand alongside Hindu architecture. North of Ponda, the Shri Mangueshi Temple stands perched on a hill, a beautiful example of Hindu architecture. You’ll also visit the Shri Shantadurga temple before exploring the local speciality: the cultivation of spices. For this, you’ll head to a spice plantation where cardamom, vanilla, cinnamon and the medicinal plants typical of the region are grown. Next, you’ll be visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus and the Sé Catedral de Santa Catarina, the largest of all the churches in Old Goa.
Private transfer to the station and train to Mumbai. Another private transfer and check-in for a two-night stay in a former colonial house in the historic city centre. Converted into a hotel, it’s very close to the entertainments the neighbourhood has to offer, but at the same time set back from all the hustle and bustle. Here, a new shop or bar pops up every week! The hotel harmoniously combines contemporary style with Mumbai’s heritage and the city’s bohemian past. Antique furniture sits alongside custom-made pieces, the shelving takes its inspiration from traditional bookshops, and the upholstery fabrics are vintage saris sourced from local markets. A place full of charm.
A buzzing metropolis on the shores of the Arabian Sea, Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) is a city of contrasts. It embodies India’s industrial success, the glitz of Bollywood cinema, cricket, and a rich past coloured by significant British influence.
On your itinerary - A private tour with a dabbawala. Dabbawalas are itinerant vendors, and the word in Hindi literally means “one who carries a box”. Every single day in Mumbai, some 2,000 dabbawalas deliver around 200,000 meals. Get an insider look at the intricate “ballet” performed on a daily basis by this small army of men dressed in white as you accompany one of them on his rounds, after watching the goods being loaded onto the train that takes you to Churchgate, where the sorting and distribution of meals takes place. A real, unvarnished dive into the India of today.
Must-see - The Zaveri Bazaar, which became the epicentre of Indian maritime trade under British influence. This neighbourhood offers a glimpse of the eastern part of Mumbai, and the legacy left by merchants from neighbouring Gujarat.
Optional - Private gourmet tour of the city.
Your flight leaves at night, so your room will be available for you until your departure. Private transfer to the airport at the end of the evening, and international return flight. Night on board the aircraft, arrival the following day.
À la carte
This suggested itinerary can be customisable down to the smallest detail, including duration, stops and content. An à la carte menu of experiences is also available to create a journey that reflects who you are.
Closing ceremony at Gurudwara Bangla Sahib temple in Delhi
In 1783, under pressure from a Sikh leader, Emperor Shah Alam authorised the construction of Sikh temples. This is how the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the largest Sikh temple in Delhi, came into being - a place where an atmosphere of great devotion prevails. Prayers, prostrations and offerings are ritually performed by the many devotees who gather before the Granth Sahib, the Holy Book. Every evening, after sunset, this sacred book—the principal object of worship in a gurudwara—is ceremoniously brought back to its room for the night in a ritual procession in a palanquin, accompanied by singing. You attend this ceremony in the company of a guide, with whom you visit the entire site.
High Tea at a prestigious hotel in Hyderabad
Do not confuse Afternoon Tea with High Tea! The first is taken between 3pm and 5pm, while the second is a light meal - accompanied by tea, of course - enjoyed between 5pm and 7pm. The one offered by this hotel, perched high above the city, lives up to its location: a delightful gourmet interlude in a refined, in a distinctly British atmosphere.
Nocturnal stroll in Goa, from taverns to hidden bars
Accompanied by a guide who knows Goa like the back of their hand, you immerse yourself at night in the Goan way of life - marked by gentle languor, easy laughter and generously filled glasses. Old taverns with creaking doors, intimate bars with soft lighting - step inside an establishment steeped in history, where the scents of spices mingle with songs from another era and friendly faces. Next, head to trendy underground bars and renovated houses where inventive cocktails vie with the famous feni (local liqueur). A festive and epicurean tour of Goa.
